James Dowden Harris III passed away on November 10, 2011. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by many and forever held in their hearts.

James was born January 13, 1959 in Forth Worth, Texas to James Dowden Harris Jr. and Theresea Garrison Harris.
He loved the great outdoors and all it had to offer: Scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking, hunting and white water rafting. His greatest passion in life was beautiful daughters and granddaughter.

He graduated from JJ Pearce High School in 1977 and attended the University of Texas in Austin. He was preceeded in death by his mother, Theresea Harris.

James is survived by his daughters Hannah Harris, Sophia Harris, and granddaughter McKinley Brown, sister Julie Skidmore, brother Joel Harris, father James Dowden Harris Jr., and stepmother Emilyn Harris.
