Bryant Edward Wolf was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 15, 1922. He was a Veteran of WWII and served with the Army in the Pacific. He met his beloved wife, Florence Baker Wolf on VE Day, May 8, 1945. Graduating from Washington University in 1948, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He went on to be an exemplary science and mathematics teacher at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas until 1987. Florence preceded him in death in May 2010. Bryant is survived by his two sons, Bryant Edward Wolf, Jr. and Woolard Tatum Wolf, and his daughter, Whitney Baker Wolf. His sister-in-law Charlotte Baker Jackson also survives him. There are four grandchildren, Gabriel Bryant Wolf, Ashley Wolf Haskins, Hailey Dover Wolf, and Paige Tatum Wolf. He had a great grandson Erik Parker Haskins, a daughter in law, Karen Ball Wolf, and son in law, Richard Martin Kottle. Bryant is also survived by many close friends and relatives including Stephanie Wolf, Rick Coke, Laura Wolf, and Theressa Wood.
After they retired from teaching, Bryant and Florence lived for 23 years at Wildwood just outside of Harrison, Arkansas, where they loved their dogs, fed the birds, watched the bluebird nestlings, and took care of each other.
He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Bryant will be interred next to Florence and many family members in Oak Hill Cemetary in St. Louis, Missouri.
