I got the chance to meet Chris over the last several years when she came to our office for surgery. I don't think I ever met such a strong willed woman as her! She went through so very much, but never faced anything without grace and determination.I have her family picture w/Randy & Butch on my desk and think of her always. It was always so good to see Chris come to the office! She was a very caring woman-even calling me when I was the patient and had my own surgery to check on me. I miss her very much. She was a very special lady.

I am grateful that Chris became a part of our family. Her courage and will were an inspiration to me as well as many others and her thoughtfulness and giving nature were a blessing to all of us who were touched by her. I am sure that she is she is shakin' it up in heaven and adding her flair as she best knows how. God bless you, girl. Be at peace. We'll all miss you! Chris was such a great person. I met her through my daughter, Mandi, but she became my friend too. We even shared my mailbox for a while. You know Chris, she was just like family. Beautiful soul and loving person with her own share, maybe more than her share, of trouble in this life. She was a fighter and could be as determined as anyone I know. Well I met Chris about 7 years ago it was all bitter sweet the way we met but gosh I was so thankful that I had met her I was going through a bad time with my health and being freaked out and she calmed me down. I could talk to her about it . she was such a strong willed human being . my husband and Chris had been friends many years before me . I was honored to have known a woman that would fight till the end. Randy , I just want you to know that Scott and I are so sorry for lose just know that she loved you and butch so much.I hate that time and distance keep us away. She was a wonderful woman and she will be greatly missed . Randy,YOu are in our thoughts and prayers. R.I.P Chris you may be gone from this earth but your memories will live on forever.

Chris was such a special person. Although time and distance separated us, I will always remember her for the abundance of special qualities she possessed. I first met Chris when she was living in Texarkana. She did an awesome job on manicures and nails!!! :) Chris was the type of person that you only needed to spend a short time with, to make you feel as if you'd known her all your life. She was a very special person to our family and will be missed. I regret that I was unable to spend more time with her, but I know she is watching over us all, and living life to the fullest in heaven. Randy -- you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Even though I have not seen Chris in over 20 years - her vibrance and personality still hold a warm spot in my heart. She was always good for a laugh and was one of the sweetest people ever. She will be missed by many but never forgotten...................

I only met Chris through phone calls, e-mails, and instant messaging at work a little over a year ago, but her character came across loud and clear: she was a go getter, but very friendly. One of my first memories of Chris was a time we were instant messaging on work related issues and I kept calling her Christine, to which she replied, "Call me, Chris". I proceeded to ask what number she wanted me to call her at. She chuckled (lol) and clarified that she wanted me to call her "Chris" as opposed to "Christine"... WHAT WE WILL REMEMBER ABOUT CHRIS IS HER ENERGY,AND HOW SHE PAID ATTENTION TO DETAIL. SHE TOOK AN ACTIVE PART IN HER CARE. Chris was an amazing person and will be truly missed. I first met Chris and Randy when they lived a few houses down and across the street from me and my family. Soon enough they moved right in the house next to ours, by far they were the best neighbors we have ever had. Because Chris and Randy were such a perfect couple those two could do anything they put there minds too, my family referred to them as Martha Stewart and Tim the tool man if you knew Chris and Randy those were very appropriate names for them. Chris taught me a lot and included me in her life which was truly an honor. Randy is my dad’s brother from another mother and Chris’s nephew Rob is my very best friend. My family will be here to help them heal just as they were there for my family when I lost my older sister. I will miss Chris very much she was an inspiration to all who knew her and I will keep what she has taught me and told me safe in my heart so that one day I can make her proud. RIP Chris I have no doubt that you are Lacie’s neighbor in heaven.

We will miss Chris very much. She was such a kind person. For our wedding she made the most beautiful cover for my wheelchair so that it would flow along with my wedding dress. That was such a special day and made all the more so by her generous spirit. She has touched our lives and will never be forgotten. Samantha & Michael White.

I met Chris and Randy in April 1997 at the first NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway. They were not married yet, but it looked like that was just a formality waiting to happen at the right time. Over the years we became good friends and I always enjoyed a good argument with Chris. She didn't mind telling you exactly what was on her mind and I really loved that about her. After her first bought with that demon, I was hopeful that her determination to overcome that thing would carry her through. Of course in the end she lost her battle and we all share in the loss of a really COOL person, who was always willing to help. I used her grit to help me with my disabling stroke in 2003. In all the times I saw her our talked to her she never complained, it was always matter of fact and she was on top of every aspect of that demon. So for me it is a painful loss of a friend that was one of the truley inspiring people in my life. May the Lord Bless her and keep her and bless Randy and the family in their time sorrow.

Chris was an amazing, strong woman. There are few people who could have faced what she faced with such courage, faith, and grace. I spent many a time over the years just talking and hanging out with her. She always told you the truth,more people should be like that. She loved Randy, everybody knew that. I remember their weddin, that was so much fun. I will miss Chris, the world was surely a better place with her in it.
